Junior Master Chef Day was a manifestation of The Kindergarten Department’s endeavor to provide the children with the basic knowledge and essential life skills required at such an early age. Through a resourceful, innovative approach, they focus on the maximum involvement of children in hands-on activities.
As the children relished the experience of preparing and sampling mouth-watering seasonings, they learned to work independently, make nutritious food for their meals, take the responsibility of helping in food preparation, and share their food with others. They could also understand that even though they are still young, they can accomplish great things. This boosted their self-confidence and enabled them to take pride in what they could achieve.
